Timber Tour and Super Youth events at Panorama

Timber Tour and Super Youth events at Panorama
December 13, 2017 Dave Smethurst
Just a quick note to let you know that registration is now open for both the Timber Tour and Super Youth events at Panorama. The field size for both Timber Tour and Super Youth will be limited to 100 athletes each. Currently, there are 38 Timber Tour athletes and 21 Super Youth athletes registered. Please share this with your club members: https://freestylebc.ski/event/timber-tour-panorama-2018/

Evan Phillips will be leading officials training at the Panorama Timber Tour. This opportunity is open to all parents or volunteers that are interested in learning more about becoming a freestyle ski official. No experience is necessary! Attendance to the officials training is strongly recommended for Clubs hosting events this year. There is no cost for the event, however, registration is required so we can properly track and communicate with participants. Please share this with anyone interested in learning more!
The BC Winter Games is on track for Sun Peaks late February. Our final selection event for the games is the Panorama event. The timeline for selection and then registration is extremely tight. We are aiming to notify athletes of their zone team selection on January 15th with a short three-day window to register by January 17th. For this reason, we are requesting that all athletes interested in attending the games pre-register by January 10th. Athletes will still need to be selected based on their results. Pre-registration will enable a more efficient and timely selection process.
Please have all athletes interested in attending the BC Winter Games complete the pre-registration form by January 10thhttps://freestylebc.ski/event/bc-winter-games-2018/

There has been significant interest in the club coach courses offered this December. The courses in Vancouver, Silver Star and Panorama are now full. Space is still remaining for the Sun Peaks and Mount Washington courses. Please share this with any coaches, instructors, parents or athletes over 16 that are interested in taking the first steps to become a coach: https://freestylebc.ski/events/category/coach-development/
As always, please contact me with any questions or concerns. Thanks for all the work you do to support our BC athletes!
