(formerly Jumps & Bumps)
FUNdamentalz is a program developed by the Canadian Freestyle Ski Association. Participants, aged 8+ years of age, must be strong intermediate skiers and must be able to ski parallel on a blue run, able to load and unload the ski lift independently and take care of their own equipment. Skiers are taught mountain safety, All-terrain skiing, Jumps & Bumps skills and an introduction to the Terrain Park.
This program is offered at both Grouse and Cypress Mountains on either Saturday and/ or Sunday. We strongly encourage those wanting to take their skiing to the next level to register for both days of training.
Included in this program are two options to take part in Timber Tour Competition #2 – Whistler-Blackcomb, February 2019.
Option 1 – Transportation and lift ticket to ski in Whistler for the day (date TBD) and support your fellow Teammates at Timber Tour #2.
Option 2 – Compete in the Timber Tour #2 – All additional coaching fees are waived for the 4-day event. Accommodation, event fees and lift tickets are not included.
NOTE: The Whistler Training Day will be on a Sunday in February, regardless of the day the athlete would normally have trained (date TBD). Those athletes who would normally train on Saturday will train at Whistler on the Sunday instead as there will be no training at Grouse or Cypress on that weekend in February.
Club members can purchase season passes at a discounted rate for Cypress or Grouse Mountains. If a pass is required, please select the relevant option in the registration form as we need to provide a participant list to each mountain. You will then be sent instructions how to proceed.
**New athletes to Vancouver Freestyle must also REGISTER HERE for our NEW MEMBERS DAY on Saturday, December 15th at Cypress Mountain.
