Jumps & Bumps

Description:

This program is for athletes, aged 8 and up.  They must be able to parallel ski (top to bottom) on a Blue/ Black Run, must be able to take care of their own equipment (taking on and off) and must be able to load and unload the ski lift independently. Skiers are taught free-skiing skills, terrain safety, basic air sense, mogul skills and an intro to the Terrain Park - This program is offered at both Cypress and Grouse Mountains on either Saturday or Sunday. Sessions are 13 weeks in length.

NOTE: New athletes to VFSC should also register here for our Assessment Day on Saturday, December 16th.

VFSC Whistler Day!

Included in this program are two options to take part in Timber Tour #2 – Whistler-Blackcomb, February 1 – 4, 2018.

Option 1 – Includes transportation and a day of skiing in Whistler on Sunday, February 4th to go support your fellow VFSC Teammates.

Option 2 – Compete in the Timber Tour #2 – All additional coaching fees are waived for the 4-day event. Accommodation and lift tickets are not included.

NOTE: The VFSC Whistler Training Day will be on Sunday 4th February, regardless of the day the athlete would normally have trained.  So those athletes who would have trained on Saturday, February 3rd will train at Whistler on the 4th February instead as there will be no training at Grouse and Cypress on Saturday 3rd or Sunday 4th February.

Insurance runs from June 1st each year so you will need to have purchased it after this date for it to be valid this season.

Ski Passes

Club members can purchase season passes for Grouse Mountain at Y2Play rates and at Cypress Mountain at the Corporate rate.  Please select the relevant option in the registration form if a pass is required as we need to provide a participant list to each mountain.  You will then be able to purchase a pass from Grouse Guest Services at the discounted rate by providing your name or online via the Cypress website.

PLEASE NOTE: We have maximum athlete numbers specified for each mountain/day to align with coaching resources.  In the event that the program is full on a particular day/mountain, participants will be notified and added to the wait list.

Please register for the program of your choice and we'll contact you if places are not available and let you know what the options are.
